Working Party on Export Credits (ECG)

This Working Party plays a crucial part in the co-ordination of the export policy between the OECD countries.

The ECG is responsible for elaborating and following up the “OECD Arrangement on Guidelines for Officially Supported Export Credits”.

The OECD conferences on the Arrangement are prepared through co-ordination meetings at EU level. A common position is sought, which the European Commission expresses at the meetings.

A staff member of the IEFI Administration’s bilateral entity follows the ECG’s activities very closely in coordination with representatives of the FPS Foreign Affairs , the FPS Economy and the Belgian Export Credit Agency.
