Mopeds, light quadricycles and speed pedelecs that have missed the regularisation procedure via bpost, may be registered by the Belgian vehicle registration service (DIV) without the need for an E705.

More specifically, the following vehicles can be registered without E705:

• mopeds, light quadricycles and speed pedelecs that were entered into service in Belgium before 31 March 2014 (also including those registered abroad and imported or acquired on an intra-Community basis by a Belgian user before 31 March 2014);
• used mopeds, used light quadricycles and used speed pedelecs without a foreign certificate of registration which were imported by a Belgian user or acquired on an intra-Community basis between 31 March 2014 and 10 December 2015 and therefore were entered into service in Belgium between 31 March 2014 and 10 December 2015. It should be pointed out that 31 March 2014 and 10 December 2015 are included in the aforementioned period so as to leave no doubt.
